The World Training Institute identifies and
promotes the most effective and efficient
technology world wide. Founded in 1995 as a 501,
c-3, not for profit organization by Joseph
Sullivan, Chairman of the Board of Directors for
the World Training Institute. The late
Mr. Sullivan was also for many years a Security
Consultant, Special Agent and Major Case Inspector
for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The World Training Institute
was accredited by the State Accounting Board of
New York and the State Accounting Board of New
Jersey to provide low-cost Continuing Professional
Education programs to auditors and accountants in
other not for profit organizations.
The World
Training Institute remains independent from
sponsors and funds its work through its programs.
As a result of our efforts, we provide affordable
training and products as well as objective
consultation for other non-profit organizations.
In collaboration with Multitech, Inc., a
telecommunications engineering firm located in the
galleria, on 57th Street in mid-town Manhattan,
the World Training Institute began serving the not
for profit community in 1995.

Multitech, featuring
world-class engineers in telecommunications and
fiber optics technology, was one of the first
firms dedicated to transforming the Manhattan
business infrastructure by installing 100%
fiber-optic cable for intranet, and later,
internet use. Mike Maloney, a Multitech founder,
was instrumental in converting the New York Daily
News organization to its current state
of the art telecommunications network. In the
galleria, the daily business of implementing
cutting-edge digital technology brought together
world-class experts with skills ranging from forensic auditing
to secured telecommunications.
Multitech: 36-seat
video-conferencing studio - 11th Floor of the
galleria The subject-matter experts
in the World Training Institute complemented the
work of Multitech and regularly exchanged
consulting services and expertise.
Joseph Milano, a pioneer in satellite
farms and videoconferencing, confers with a member
of the Multitech team.
After the untimely deaths of several key members
in both organizations, the World Training
Institute was compelled to reorganize its Board
of Directors, while adding to its team of
trainers and consultants.
Today, the
World Training Institute continues to provide
training and consultation with a center in New
Jersey and an office in New York to serve our clients.
Our Interim Chair, John
Ernst is helping manage our reorganization,
while continuing to raise funds for The ALS
Association, the only national non-profit
voluntary health organization dedicated solely to
the fight against ALS, perhaps better known as Lou
Gehrig disease.
Currently, we are developing
initiatives ranging from training in international marketing communications to software engineering, by promoting the efficiency of the internet. Our fund-raising efforts recently helped the Orthodox Palestine Society raise over three hundred thousand dollars to preserve the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. We continue to help them find an appropriate buyer for nine acres of land on the Mount of Olives, adjacent to the Garden of Gethsemane.
